EYFS – Early Years Foundation Stage

As a full day care setting registered with Ofsted we must follow the guidelines set out in the Early Years Foundation Stage. This ensures we are running our establishment correctly to these guidelines and giving our best skills and knowledge to the children that attend. We are regularly inspected by Ofsted and on our last inspection we had a ‘good’ rating.

Outside Play

We have an outdoor play area that has a variety of  equipment and staff  involve the children in group games like parachute play and ball games. We use our outdoor spaces as an extra classroom which means children will take part in educational activities such as planting flowers and vegetables or even searching for insects with magnifying glasses.. The children go outside in all weathers if they have the appropriate clothing for example, sun hat and sun screen or wellies and raincoat
