At Just Imagine Maldon Day Nursery, being part of the local community is important and we aim to contribute towards charities and good causes. As part of our contributions, four members of the team recently took on the challenge of taking part in The Maldon Mud Race.
Our families were involved in helping to decide which charities to support, and we looked at what we personally felt provided a great impact. Farleigh Hospice was a popular choice, providing hospice care to those affected by life-limiting illness and bereavement across mid Essex.
The Maldon Mud Race also supports this remarkable charity, it was just meant to be!
The team have been blown away by the generosity and donations received and thank all the parents of the nursery for the support and encouragement given to the four members participating.
The event was a great achievement, and we have been discussing the event with our children too.
At Maldon, we believe in empathy, kindness, and social responsibility and this has been an amazing learning opportunity for our little ones, inspiring them to make a difference in their own unique ways.
